Fans are calling this unacceptable.
Unfortunately, long lines are a part of any Theme Park experience. Guests visiting Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort are well versed in how long lines for rides can get. It is not shocking for a popular ride to have wait times of over two hours. However, what was seen at the Parks last night was truly unacceptable.
Guests at Disneyland Resort last night were forced to wait in a 400-minute line for one of the more popular rides at Disney California Adventure Park. This has led fans to investigate and find out the reason for such a ridiculous wait time.
California Adventure Ride Faces Untimely Breakdown
Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout ride is one of the most popular rides right now at Disneyland Resort. This could be likely due to the fact that the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 is set to premiere today, May 5, 2023. On the days leading up to its premiere, fans could expect to see wait times surge a little bit from fans getting excited about the movie. However, no one expected that surge to hit a 400-minute wait time.
At the Disneyland Resort in Southern California, visitors to Disney California Adventure Park must be prepared to wait nearly seven hours for Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout.
Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout follows the same general storyline as the Marvel movie franchise of the same name. The ride is designed to take visitors on a thrilling journey through the galaxy as they help the Guardians escape from their captors. Using a gantry lift system to propel riders up and down more than 100 feet in the air, the ride is an adrenaline-pumping experience that has become incredibly popular since its debut four years ago.
I think I’ll come back later…

Despite the long wait time, fans of Guardians of the Galaxy have not been deterred. Many Guests stuck out the 6-hour and 40-minute long line so they could experience the ride the day before the premiere.
According to one fan, the reason for the delay is;
“Only two carts working and delays due to someone removing seat belt mid ride for the tiktok trend.”
Hopefully, Disneyland Resort will sort this out, and the ride will be able to run at an acceptable rate.
