Incredibly sad news coming in right. TMZ is reporting that Full House star Bob Saget has died. He was only 65 years old. A cause of death is not known at this time. According to reports, he was found dead in his hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando, Florida, where he had been staying while out on tour.
Saget starred as Danny Tanner — father of DJ, Stephanie, and Michelle — in the ABC show Full House, which ran from 1987 until 1995. Saget returned to his role as Danny Tanner when Full House was rebooted to Fuller House, which had 5 seasons on Netflix.
Multiple sources connected to the iconic comedian and actor — most famous for his starring role as Danny Tanner in ‘Full House’ — tell us he passed away Sunday at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando.
The Sheriff’s Department and the fire department responded to the hotel around 4 PM ET … after hotel security had found Bob in his room. We’re told he was pronounced dead on the scene, but the circumstances of his death are still unclear.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that they were called to the Ritz-Carlton Orlando and that the deceased person was identified as “Robert Saget” The Sheriff’s Office shared the report on Twitter.
Earlier today, deputies were called to the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes for a call about an unresponsive man in a hotel room. The man was identified as Robert Saget & pronounced deceased on scene. Detectives found no signs of foul play or drug use in this case. #BobSaget
