Although Walt Disney World is known as the Most Magical Place on Earth, it’s not infallible or devoid of negative experiences.

In fact, despite the high-quality customer service, fantastic attractions, and intricately-themed ambiance, many Guests find themselves having negative experiences while visiting Walt Disney World.

Honestly, a huge chunk of the negative experiences come from interactions with other Guests. The inconsiderate behavior may irritate us in the moment, but the truth of the matter is that it’s the positive experiences that will be remembered, not the negative.

For example, you probably can’t remember all of the times someone has cut in front of you while in line, bumped into you while walking, or taken a flash photo on a dark ride right next to you.

…However, you can probably remember some of the positive interactions! You can probably remember the times you’ve had a friendly chat or interaction with another Guest while waiting in line for an attraction, waiting for the fireworks, or riding the monorail.

Recently, while visiting Magic Kingdom, I experienced a truly magical moment on the Disney Monorail.

At the end of the night, when everyone was cranky, tired, and overall grumpy, somebody noticed a stranger was wearing a birthday button. They began singing Happy Birthday, and soon enough, the entire cart was singing. We finished as we pulled into the station, clapped, and cheered for the special Guest.

It wasn’t even my birthday, and I still think I’ll remember such a wholesome moment for the rest of my life! When it comes down to it, it’s positive experiences like this one that will stick with us when we think back on our previous visits to Walt Disney World.
