If you’re visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom today (May 8), you have perfect timing! “A Celebration of Festival of the Lion King” was said to debut “mid-May”, but guests visiting the park today are being invited for a soft opening! Cast Members have reportedly stated the official opening date for the show is May 15, but soft openings will be taking place leading up to the opening.

Of course, many guests are in line now and Cast Members have dragged signs for the new show out to the entrance to the theater – indicating that there will be showings today.”
