The Fireflies of Disneyland Park
One of the few things that the Disneyland Park ride has that is not found at the Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World Resort is the fireflies.
These twinkling bugs look so magical on the ride, and many fans look forward to seeing them at the attraction. This is why, earlier this year, pirate fans were very upset to realize that the bug scene was not working properly. Instead of twinkling, the bugs remained static.

Fans were very disappointed in this development, and many called out Disney for not taking better care of their rides. The ride, which only grew in popularity thanks to the Walt Disney Pictures Pirates of the Caribbean franchise starring Johnny Depp, is not immune to wear and tear.
A Well Overdo Refurbishment
Thankfully, that is no longer the case at this beloved attraction. According to fans who visited today, the fireflies are back and blinking like normal.
This fix gives fans confidence that Walt Disney Imagineers are still dedicated to fixing and improving iconic attractions such as this one. At Disney, it is the details that matter, and small improvements like the fireflies make such a difference to fans who visit the theme park regularly.
This exciting development will make many Disney Parks fans more eager than ever to attend this attraction in Disneyland Park at Disneyland Resort.
