Are We Getting Ahead of Ourselves?

As construction has begun on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, some fans have grown concerned that the reality of this ride may not exceed its high expectations. When the storyline was revealed, many fans began feeling insecure that it would captivate them as visitors.

In the ride’s storyline announcement, fans learned that it would follow Tiana’s journey in starting a small employee-owned cooperative called Tiana’s Foods. For many, this storyline doesn’t really make sense for a thrill ride.

Now, new developments to the ride’s exterior have raised even more eyebrows. On one of the ride’s buildings, which will serve as Tiana’s main office, a mural is being painted. While the mural is supposed to be inspired by the street art of New Orleans, man fans don’t feel so wowed.

All over the internet, fans have begun spreading their discontent with the new art. One fan laments;

“I’m sorry but “Tiana’s repurposed barn” is the best they could come up with?”

Another says,

“looks like a city children’s museum. not in a good way”

While it is easy for many to be disappointed with the ride so far, it is essential to remember that this attraction is not done yet. All judgment should be held off until the official opening happens next year.
