Something truly mysterious is happening at Disneyland Resort!

This year, Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort began remodeling their iconic attraction, Splash Mountain, into a new experience called Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. The decision is a part of Disney’s ongoing effort to update and modernize its parks, incorporating diverse stories and characters into attractions.

Splash Mountain has been a staple in Disney Parks for decades. Inspired by the animated film Song of the South, the attraction took Guests on a log flume adventure through a whimsical story featuring a zany collection of characters. However, the source material has faced criticism for its racial stereotyping, and Disney has chosen to retheme the attraction to a more inclusive storyline. Earlier this year, both of these Splash Mountain attractions closed, and construction began.

Construction Begins… But Not Easily

To the outside world, it has seemed that construction on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure has been going seamlessly. However, inside sources seem to tell a different story.

An anonymous source has revealed some very interesting information that has made more than a few fans very interested to learn more. According to the user, some supernatural things are happening at the Splash Mountain construction site in Disneyland Resort. The user explains;

” So my husband is working on the splash mountain / tiana ride at Disneyland, right now it’s mainly demo and let me tell you splash mountain isn’t going down without a fight. from what he tells me the ride seems to be haunted. I’m not much of a believer in such things but it’s funny to hear the stories he tells me.”

This is not the first time that Cast Members have claimed that Disney is Haunted. Many believe that spirits roam nearly every attraction in the Park.

Ghosts Fight Back Against Remodel

To make matters more intense, the “ghosts” are apparently causing some major setbacks to construction. The post continues, saying;

“They have tools go missing and found randomly in hard to get to areas. they can be pulling wire from the wall and it feels like someone is pulling back. They even had fires and a small explosion happen. Definitely looking forward to tianas opening and to head more spooky stories.”
