Expensive Disney Merchandise Ruined After Being Cleaned The Way It Was Supposed To Be

When it comes to shopping at Disney Parks, there is almost nothing you can’t find. Whether you want a t-shirt, a sweatshirt, cookware, towels, jewelry, and more, odds are you can find it at Disney. While Disney is known for its wide variety of products, it is also known for its high price tags. When budgeting for a Disney vacation, merchandise prices must always be taken into account. When you pay a higher price tag, you may think that you are getting a higher quality product, but it seems that that may not quite be the case.

Disneyland Paris is currently in the midst of celebrating its 30th Anniversary — which encompasses Disneyland Park, Walt Disney Studios Park, and Disney Village. As with any big celebration, there has been a lot of great and beautiful merchandise released for Guests to purchase during their visit. Disneyland Paris has released special Mickey ears, tee shirts, spirit jerseys, a limited-edition Loungefly backpack, a beautiful water bottle, and more.

Unfortunately, it looks like the Disney Park’s water bottle may not be of the quality Guests have come to expect. Twitter user Chronique Disney (@chroniquedisney) recently purchased a water bottle from the Park. As with a lot of Disney dishware, you are instructed to wash the pieces by hand with simple soap and water. According to Chronique Disney, they followed the instructions and were shocked at the results. The Disneyland Paris logo and designs came right off.

According to Chronique Disney, the theme park water bottle will set Guests back about 25€, which is just over $27. When paying that price, you do not expect to get one use out of your purchase. It is possible that Disney simply received a bad batch of water bottles. Hopefully, this Guest was able to return the water bottle to Disneyland Paris and get a new water bottle that will hold up to a regular wash.
