But as more guests plan their first visit, another topic keeps surfacing alongside all the excitement: the price.

That popularity comes with a downside, though. High demand often leads to long waits at many of the park’s biggest attractions, putting even more attention on Universal’s Express Pass options.

The Cost Adds Up Quickly

The base ticket price doesn’t seem unreasonable on its own. Single-day admission currently starts at $139.99 per person before tax, although prices rise on busier dates throughout the year.

The bigger financial jump comes when guests consider skipping some of those standby lines.

Universal generally offers a standalone one-day Express Pass for Epic Universe that provides one Express entry at each participating attraction. That pass currently starts at $199.99 before tax, with prices increasing during peak periods.

When combined with the lowest-priced admission, a guest is already spending nearly $340 before tax. Add Florida sales tax, and the total moves beyond that mark before paying for food, parking, merchandise, or anything else inside the park.

For families, the numbers become even larger. A group of four can easily spend well over $1,300 before admission tax and Express Passes alone for a single visit.

Unlike Epic Universe’s once-per-attraction Express option, Unlimited Express allows guests to use participating Express entrances multiple times throughout the day.

Admission also starts lower at both parks, with standard single-day tickets beginning around $124.99.

That means guests can spend less while receiving an Express product that offers more flexibility than Epic Universe currently provides. It’s easy to see why many fans compare the value between the parks before deciding where to spend their vacation budget.
