It’s no secret that Walt Disney World Resort is the Most Magical Place on Earth. This is partly due to the fantastic immersion of each Disney Park, the unique experiences and the superb customer service Cast Members provide.

Walt Disney World Resort knows how expensive a Disney vacation is, so whenever a problem arises, it can usually be solved. However, decades of some of the best customer service combined with high prices have led to some Guests acting entitled while interacting with Cast Members.
Unfortunately, one Guest, in particular, expected the rules to be bent for her. When things did not go her way, she posted about her experience on social media…which almost immediately backfired:

In this Tweet, we can see the original screenshots by the Guest who expected Cast Members to bend the rules for her.
The Guest in question created a dining reservation in Hollywood Studios’ Roundup Rodeo BBQ while visiting another Disney Park. However, they made the reservation for 2 p.m., an entire hour before she and her party could Park Hop.
However, she expected Cast Members to bend the rules and let her Park Hop early and was offended when they stood their ground.

Unfortunately, it’s time for all of us as Disney fans to collectively stop expecting Cast Members to bend the rules for us, especially something as crucial as Park Hopping.

The days of ‘no crying at Disney’ are over, in part due to entitled Guest behavior. The only way to return to the golden days of Walt Disney World’s Guest-soothing customer service is to stop expecting Cast Members to disobey their direct orders for our benefit.
