Enjoy A Frozen Day at Walt Disney World

One of the most popular and beloved Disney animated films of all time is Frozen which was released in 2013 and followed by Frozen II in 2019 as well as an array of shorts and specials. The film features Guest favorites like Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Sven, and Kistoff as well as several popular songs including the mega hit “Let It Go” which became the anthem of Disney songs for a period after the film was released.

With such popularity, Frozen quickly began to make its way into the Disney Parks at the Walt Disney World Resort, and Guests who visit today can enjoy several wonderful attractions and experiences that bring the animated story to life. From live entertainment to warm hugs and everything in between, here are all of the Frozen experiences that Guests can enjoy at the Walt Disney World Resort.

Frozen Ever After

Frozen Ever After

Since Frozen is set in Norway, it is no surprise that the Norway Pavilion in EPCOT’s World Showcase is home to some amazing attractions and experiences that bring the animated film to life. Frozen Ever After is the main attraction in the pavilion and continues the story from the film with Elsa hosting a summer festival in the kingdom of Arendelle and all Guests are invited.

Frozen Ever After features many memorable scenes including the lovable trolls, Anna and Kristoff singing together, Olaf and Sven getting into hijinks together, and Elsa belting out “Let It Go” from her castle balcony. It’s a lighthearted and fun attraction that allows Guests to feel a part of the story, and the audio-animatronics are incredibly lifelike making it feel as though the characters are truly alive!

Royal Sommerhus

Also found in the Norway Pavilion in EPCOT’s World Showcase is the Royal Sommerhus, the summer cabin of Anna and Elsa. While Guests previously were able to enter inside of the Royal Sommerhus to meet with the sisters, current safety restrictions have the duo standing outside of the cabin waiting to greet Guests and interact. Decked out in their outfits from Frozen II, Anna and Elsa love sharing stories with Guests, posing for photos, and chatting about all things Arendelle. Guests who do enter into the Royal Sommerhus should check out the amazing including a subtle reference to Maelstrom, the attraction that existed in the Norway Pavilion for years before being replaced by Frozen Ever After.

Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe

Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe

The perfect way to feel as though Guests are enjoying a traditional Norwegian meal with Anna and Elsa is by stopping by Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe in the Norway Pavilion. This charming bakery brings Guests into a small and cozy cabin where they can order up traditional Norwegian bites and treats including the iconic School Bread, Troll Horn, Lefse, Norwegian Kringla, Eplekake, and more. Guests can then enjoy their menu items on an open-air patio that offers beautiful views of the Norway Pavilion and World Showcase Lagoon and some seats even provide glimpses of Anna and Elsa greeting Guests at the nearby Royal Sommerhus.

Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade

Another great location to spot Anna and Elsa waving to fans is Main Street, U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom. Each afternoon the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade makes its way down Main Street with a catchy soundtrack and whimsical floats that features fantasy elements and favorite characters. One popular float features Anna, Elsa, and Olaf waving to Guests from an icy perch that rotates while moving to reveal Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen on the other side surrounded by flowers.

For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration

The next stop while enjoying a Frozen themed day at the Walt Disney World Resort is the Echo Lake area of Disney’s Hollywood Studios where a wonderful live performance can be enjoyed in the Hyperion Theater. For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration is a visually stunning and entertaining live show where the Royal Historians of Arendelle share the history of their kingdom with appearances and musical numbers by Elsa, Anna, and friends along the way. Guests will love learning more about the kingdom of Arendelle while being encouraged to sing along to favorite songs including “Let It Go.”

Meet Olaf at Celebrity Spotlight

Just steps away in the Echo Lake area of Disney’s Hollywood Studios is a meet and greet location where Guests can actually get a warm hug from one of the most popular characters from Frozen. Celebrity Spotlight welcomes Guests into a tropical area complete with sand, sun, umbrellas, and Olaf living his best summer life letting off steam. Guests can pose with Olaf, have their photo taken, and enjoy the warm hugs that he is so famous for, making it a must-do experience for any fan of Frozen.

Frozen Ever After Dessert Party

Frozen Ever After Dessert Party

The final experience that Guests can enjoy on a Frozen day at the Walt Disney World Resort is a combination of entertainment, sweet treats, and attractions. The Frozen Ever After Dessert Party brings Guests to an exclusive viewing area along the shore of World Showcase Lagoon where they can enjoy the nightly EPCOT fireworks while indulging in Frozen-inspired treats and beverages. After the fireworks finish, Guests are also treated to a ride on Frozen Ever After with no wait, which can be very rare thanks to the attraction’s popularity. The Frozen Ever After Dessert Party is a magical and exciting way to end any Frozen day at the Walt Disney World Resort!
