A family knowingly exposed hundreds of other Disneyland Resort guests to a biohazard after their son publicly urinated in the Downtown Disney District. After witnessing the incident outside Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park, a horrified guest shared their story on social media.

Redditor u/froglover215 was people-watching at Disneyland Resort’s Downtown Disney District when they witnessed disturbing behavior from another family. The Southern California Disney Resort guest explained that a father was carrying a three- to four-year-old child when the boy’s mother suddenly exclaimed, “Oh, he’s peeing!”

“Kid was wearing shorts and pee was just showering out,” the Disneyland Resort guest recalled.

Whereas most parents would rush their child to the bathroom and alert a Disney cast member to the potentially hazardous spill, the couple did nothing.

“They stood around for a bit, never took the kid to get cleaned up or even patted him down with napkins, and left a pool of pee there,” the guest explained.

Even worse, the puddle was directly in a high-traffic area. The boy’s parents silently watched as countless guests walked through the urine, splashing it on their shoes and potentially their clothing.

Furthermore, the boy’s wet pants likely tracked urine onto various chairs and other structures throughout Disneyland Resort. The father likely also contaminated surfaces with urine if he didn’t clean up, change, or wash his hands immediately after the incident.

“People were walking through it and the family was standing there and didn’t say anything,” the guest said.

Accidents happen, especially when traveling with little ones. However, guests should notify the nearest Disney cast member about urine, vomit, fecal matter, blood, or other hazardous fluid spills. Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort have strict sanitization protocols for such incidents.
