Disney’s Newest Rule Keeps Adults From Standing in Front of Kids During Theme Park Shows

Disneyland Paris Resort has introduced a guest experience tweak that puts kids’ enjoyment ahead of adult convenience, and it’s already making a difference at one of the newest shows in any Disney park.

Why the Change Was Needed

“A Celebration in Arendelle” has been one of the hottest draws at Disney Adventure World — the freshly renamed second gate at Disneyland Paris Resort — since the park debuted on March 30, 2026. The 15-minute show takes place on Arendelle Bay, where Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, and an audio-animatronic Olaf celebrate the Snowflower Festival from a boat on the water below. Guests watch from an elevated position, peering down at the characters through safety railings and walls that line the viewing area.

The space’s architecture creates a real problem for shorter guests. Adults fill the front row quickly, and the railings that pose no obstacle for a grown adult become a complete visual barrier for a child standing several rows back. In a land as popular as World of Frozen, getting close enough to actually see the show without arriving well ahead of showtime is practically impossible.

PixieDustDLP reported this weekend that Disneyland Paris Resort has introduced a children-only viewing section near Arendelle Bay, tucked behind the Fjord View Shop alongside the existing disability viewing area. Rather than competing with adults for sightlines, kids can sit on the ground in this dedicated section and watch the show through open railings with an unobstructed view.

It marks one of the more meaningful guest experience adjustments Disneyland Paris Resort has made since Disney Adventure World opened. It’s also one of the first times any Disney park has formalized a child-priority viewing space for a live entertainment offering outside of interactive shows like Turtle Talk With Crush, where adults always sit in the back.

“A Celebration in Arendelle”

For families who haven’t yet made it to World of Frozen, A Celebration in Arendelle is worth planning around. Fan-favorite songs from the 2013 Walt Disney Animation Studios film anchor the performance, but the marquee musical moment is an original number called “Snowflower Magic,” written exclusively for the show by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez — the songwriting duo responsible for the movie’s iconic score.

Expect Things To Change

Disney Adventure World has only been open since late March, and Disneyland Paris Resort is still actively refining how the land operates day to day. The children’s viewing section is a welcome addition, but its exact format and location could be adjusted as the resort continues testing what works. Checking in with a Disney cast member before the show is the best way to confirm current details on the day of your visit.
