Disneyland Guests Lose Six Oogie Boogie Bash Dates as Halloween Tickets Rapidly Disappear
Disneyland Resort fans hoping to attend Oogie Boogie Bash this year may want to make their plans sooner rather than later.
The popular after-hours Halloween event at Disney California Adventure continues to see strong demand, with several additional party nights now selling out. What began with Halloween and another October date reaching capacity has quickly expanded, leaving guests with fewer opportunities to experience one of Disney’s most anticipated seasonal events.

Disney has now sold out six party nights in total. Halloween on October 31 remains unavailable, along with October 11. Newly sold-out dates include August 23, September 6, October 4, and October 18. Interestingly, every sold-out date outside of Halloween falls on a Sunday, which is the only weekend day the event is offered.
That trend isn’t particularly surprising. Sunday parties have long been attractive for families looking to squeeze a Disneyland vacation into a weekend without taking extra time away from work or school. As more visitors begin locking in fall travel plans, those weekend dates are often the first to disappear.
Fortunately, guests still have a number of options available throughout the season.
Most Tuesday and Thursday parties in August and September remain available, with tickets beginning at $139. As October approaches, admission prices climb, with several nights reaching $189 during the final weeks before Halloween.
Even though there are still plenty of tickets available today, history suggests they may not remain available for long. Oogie Boogie Bash has become one of Disneyland Resort’s signature annual events, drawing visitors from across the country who specifically plan vacations around the party.

Unlike a normal park day, the separately ticketed event transforms Disney California Adventure into a Halloween celebration filled with Disney villains, themed entertainment, trick-or-treat locations, specialty food, exclusive merchandise, and rare character appearances.
One of the biggest attractions continues to be the immersive villain treat trails. Rather than simply collecting candy, guests walk through themed environments where Disney villains interact with visitors while live music, lighting, and special effects create unique experiences throughout the park.
This year’s event will feature one notable change.
Because of ongoing construction inside Disney California Adventure, the Frightfully Fun Parade will not return for the 2026 season. Instead, Disney plans to offer a Haunted Mansion-inspired street party, giving guests a new nighttime experience while parade operations remain on hold.
Although many longtime attendees will miss the parade, Disney appears focused on ensuring guests still have exclusive entertainment that can only be experienced during Oogie Boogie Bash.

With six dates already unavailable months before Halloween, demand doesn’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon. As fall gets closer, it’s reasonable to expect additional October dates—and perhaps even more September nights—to sell out as guests finalize their vacation plans.
Anyone hoping to attend should consider purchasing tickets while their preferred date remains available. Waiting until later in the season could mean having fewer choices or missing out altogether.
