If you’ve been on a Disney Parks attraction, you’re familiar with the phrase, “remove all hats, glasses, and other loose articles.” It’s best practice to secure anything that could fly off and injure other guests or damage the ride system. However, one Disneyland Resort guest recently proved it possible to ride the Southern California theme park’s most intense roller coaster in full drag, including a wig!

The Incredicoaster stands out as one of the most thrilling attractions at Disneyland Resort, located on Pixar Pier in Disney California Adventure Park. This iconic roller coaster, formerly known as California Screamin’, is notable for its speed, height, and unique looping elements that provide guests with an exhilarating adventure worthy of the world’s best superheroes. Riders join the beloved characters from Pixar’s The Incredibles (2004), including Mr. Incredible, Mrs. Incredible, and their children, as they embark on an action-packed journey that includes sneaky twists and high-speed drops.

Among its many features, the Incredicoaster showcases an impressive launch that sends riders from a standstill to an astounding 55 miles per hour in just a few seconds. The ride also incorporates themed tunnels and special sound effects, immersing guests in the vibrant world of superheroes. With a height that reaches 120 feet and a thrilling 360-degree inversion, it has earned a reputation for being one of the most intense Disney Park coasters.

Recently, a prominent drag queen known as Sugar (@sugarsworld_) took to TikTok to share her unforgettable experience riding the Incredicoaster while decked out in her full glam makeup and extravagant wig. The video captured vivid moments from the RuPaul’s Drag Race star’s adventure—from the anticipation of descending into the coaster’s overhead restraints to the rush of the ride itself.

“Don’t try this at home kids!” Sugar jokingly cautioned her followers.

Sugar’s wig, eyelashes, and other accessories survived the Incredicoaster.

At the end of her wild ride, she declared in disbelief, “Somehow, she made it!”

Following her ride, Sugar’s TikTok video garnered a significant audience response. Viewers marveled at her ability to keep her wig and makeup intact. Many comments praised her artistry and beauty, with one user remarking, “That’s how you advertise lash and wig glue!”

In contrast to Sugar’s successful adventure, other users shared their less fortunate experiences. Stories poured in about guests who lost wigs and accessories during various Disneyland Resort rides, with one user humorously recounting, “My roommate lost her wig on Space Mountain.”

“Done it once with a wig, never again,” another comment read. “Wig was fine, my mental state from fear of loosing/damaging the wig not so much.”

The emphasis on securing items while enjoying rides at the park cannot be overstated. Loose accessories pose a safety risk, not only to the riders themselves but also to other guests. If such items fall onto the track, they can cause complications that may lead to ride stoppages.
