Disney recently celebrated “Halfway to the Holidays” with multiple reveals about exciting events and attractions coming to the parks in celebration of the holidays in November and December 2023. Fans who’ve spent any time online have no doubt heard about the exciting Disney holiday festivities to be unveiled later this year, but what they might not know is that Disney World is currently looking for Disney fans with huge holiday spirit. Disney Parks celebrates the holidays in a big way, and there’s so much magic during the holiday season, that some of that holiday cheer is now celebrated in the summer months as part of Disney’s “Halfway to the Holidays” reveal. This year’s festivities look to be some of the most jolly and magical yet!
For starters, Mickey and Minnie Mouse will celebrate the holidays while donning brand-new looks this holiday season.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom will also be dressed in the park’s holiday best and offer exciting experiences to Guests in celebration of the holiday season. The Merry Menagerie returns in 2023 and will be better than ever before! Guests can experience Discovery Island as it comes alive with beautiful puppets that give Winter Wonderland vibes. Winter animals from around the globe converge at Discovery Island (in puppet form, of course), but these are no ordinary puppets! Holiday magic brings them to dazzling life, and Guests can interact with them when they visit.

Even Disney Cruise Line is getting in on the fun as Disney’s Merrytime Cruises take gets to exciting destinations to celebrate the SEAson. Prices from Disney’s Very Merrytime Cruises start at just over $2,800 for a family of four, meaning this may be the best time every for Guests to book a magical, holly-jolly cruise with Disney Cruise Line. Disney World is even offering special discounts at select Disney Resort hotels on property. And though Disney announced that the Cinderella Castle Dream Lights won’t return this year, there will be a new castle lighting, and we’re excited to see what that experience is like!
But there’s one exciting holiday experince at Disney World that Guests might not have heard about just yet–and it’s the perfect experience for Guests who can’t get enough Disney or enough holiday spirit in their holiday season. Disney Live Entertainment has shared a posting for dancers for Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration, to be performed at Disney World during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party during the 2023 holiday season.

Join Mickey and his friends as they throw a Christmas party on the Cinderella Castle Forecourt Stage, in a celebration of music, dancing, and friends. Full of classic holiday songs and new favorites, Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration features a variety of characters, vocalists, and dancers coming together for the most wonderful time of the year.
Contracts begin in early October 2023 and run through early January 2024. Housing may be provided for out-of-town candidates.
Seeking male and female presenting dancers with exceptional dance technique and performance quality. Must be proficient in multiple styles of dance that include musical theatre-jazz, Latin, and country. Knowledge of partnering and dance lifts is a plus! We strongly encourage BIPOC dancers and dancers of all shapes and sizes to submit.
