Disney World Slashes Summer Pricing: 2027 Ticket Costs Plunge 30%
Walt Disney World has shared its 2027 ticket pricing, and right away, one detail jumps out. If you’re thinking about visiting in June, you might be looking at a better deal than expected. That’s not usually the case with Disney pricing, especially in recent years.
For a long time, the pattern has been simple—prices go up, and guests adjust. But this early look at 2027 flips that expectation, at least for part of the summer. The numbers coming out for June feel different, and for planners who like to book early, that could make a real impact.

Rising Prices Set the Stage
To see why this matters, you have to look at where things stand right now. Walt Disney World tickets have climbed steadily, especially at Magic Kingdom. In 2026, some dates reached $209, and peak pricing in 2027 rose to $219 per person.
Those higher prices have become part of the planning process. Families now build entire trips around finding lower-cost days or cutting back on extras. A trip to Disney isn’t impossible, but it often takes more strategy than it used to.
Because of that, most people expected 2027 to continue in the same direction. That’s why the June pricing feels like such a shift—it breaks away from what guests have come to expect.

June 2027 Pricing Turns Heads
Summer is usually one of the busiest times at Walt Disney World. Schools are out, families travel more, and wait times climb. Normally, that demand leads to higher ticket prices, not lower ones.
But June 2027 is telling a different story. Ticket prices range from $159 to $174. That means you can get into the parks for as low as $159 on certain days, with the higher end still capped at $174.
Only two days—June 6 and June 13—hit that $159 starting point, making them the best value of the month. Several other dates, including June 1 through 4, June 17 through 19, and June 21 through 25, sit at $174. Even at that higher June price, it’s still noticeably lower than what guests have seen during peak periods.
When you compare that $159 starting price to the $219 peak, the difference comes close to 30 percent. That’s a big shift for a time of year that typically commands premium pricing. It raises questions about whether Disney is trying to spread out crowds or simply make summer more appealing again.

Summer 2026 Keeps the Momentum Going
While 2027 might feel far away, plenty is happening much sooner. Summer 2026 is shaping up to be a packed season filled with new offerings and refreshed experiences.
Bluey’s Wild World is one of the biggest additions, bringing a popular character into the parks in a way that’s expected to draw strong interest from families. Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster is getting a Muppets-themed update, giving returning guests a reason to check it out again.
The Magic of Disney Animation is also adding something new to the lineup, offering a deeper dive into Disney storytelling. On top of that, Cool Kids Summer offers seasonal entertainment and activities that enhance the overall experience.
All of this points to a busy summer ahead, which makes the lower June 2027 pricing stand out even more. Disney continues to add new experiences, but it’s also easing pricing on select dates.

What This Could Mean for Future Trips
Seeing lower prices for June 2027 doesn’t necessarily mean everything is changing, but it does show that Disney is willing to adjust for guests, which opens up new planning opportunities.
If you’ve been holding off on a summer trip because of pricing, this could be the window to watch. Lower entry costs, even on a few dates, can make a big difference for families trying to budget.
It’s still too early to know if this approach will expand beyond June, but the early signs are encouraging. For now, June 2027 looks like a rare moment where timing your trip could pay off in a big way.
