On Tuesday, January 25, Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant at Disney Springs will host this special offer in celebration of National Irish Coffee Day. The offer is for Raglan Road’s traditional Irish coffee, and it’s fairly simple: “You buy the coffee; the whiskey’s on us,” and at Raglan Road, the two mix well together!

Sean Griffin, Director of Operations for Raglan Road sounds very fond of Irish Coffee: “If coffee and whiskey both deserve their own holiday, then Irish Coffee deserves a bigger one.” Then he quoted Alex Levine, saying Levine said it best with, “Only Irish coffee provides in a single glass all four essential food groups: alcohol, caffeine, sugar, and fat.’”

  • Iced Irish cocktail: features Bailey’s Salted Caramel with iced coffee, Paddy’s Irish Whiskey, and butterscotch schnapps topped with whipped cream
  • Irish Espresso Martini: a mix of Slane Irish Whiskey, Miami club coffee liqueur, Guinness simple syrup, and fresh espresso

“In Ireland, the Irish coffee is definitely a staple,” Griffin explained. “It’s a perfect after-dinner beverage, a nightcap, or afternoon treat. There are no rules!”

If you’ll be visiting Disney Springs on Tuesday, January 25, be sure to reserve a table at Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant and get your coffee; the whiskey comes free! And while you’re there, don’t forget to sample some of Raglan Road’s offerings for brunch, lunch, dinner, or late-night dining!

Desserts are part of Raglan Road’s specialty! Try the Rocky Road to Raglan, featuring a double chocolate and smoke almond brownie with chocolate ice cream, marshmallow sauce made right there in-house, toffee crunch, chocolate soil, and raspberry puree. Or try Ger’s Bread and Butter Pudding, or the Fluffy Lemon Clouds, featuring lemon curd tarts with meringue so fluffy, it looks like tiny lemon clouds!

About Becky Burkett

I'm an enthusiastic writer who finds joy in random things like cold weather, snow, "I Love Lucy," "The Andy Griffith Show," journals full of blank paper, countdowns to Christmas, the month of December, "Toy Story," "Sleeping Beauty," my 4 kids, my 4 shih tsus, Disney Parks history, Imagineering and visiting the parks. I think Walt Disney is the standard against which genius should be measured. I love to write about Disney Parks, Disney history, all things Imagineering and PIXAR. I adore the colors, story and art direction of Disney's "Sleeping Beauty" (Team Make it Blue!), and "Toy Story" is life (minus "Toy Story 4"). I believe Walt Disney was so much more than an entertainment and theme park tycoon; I believe he was a savant with a vision for life and how it could be if happiness and kindness are strived for. I love Biergarten at EPCOT and 1900 Park Fare at Disney's Grand Floridian. You can find me croonin' with the birdies at the Enchanted Tiki Room, chillin' on the PeopleMover or hangin' with Woody and the gang at Toy Story Land. I'm always looking for Imagineers in the parks, and I'd rather meet Joe Rohde and Tony Baxter than anyone in Hollywood! Hey, if you dream it, you really can do it!
