Disney World Pushes 2027 After Hours Tickets Past $200 as Dates Drop
Disney fans planning a 2027 trip now have another major piece of the calendar in place.
After Hours is officially returning to Walt Disney World, with Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios all getting event dates next year. Ticket prices, event hours, and expected attraction lineups for each park have also been released.
For guests who enjoy staying late and getting on popular rides with shorter waits, the return gives them plenty of options.
But the new details also come with a less exciting development.
After Hours is getting more expensive again in 2027, and Magic Kingdom will carry the highest price of the three parks.
Magic Kingdom Carries the Biggest Price Tag
Magic Kingdom will be the most expensive of the three After Hours options in 2027.
In 2026, tickets there ranged from $175 to $199 per person. For 2027, Disney has raised that range to $189-$209, depending on the event date.
That pushes the cheapest Magic Kingdom ticket up by $14, which is an 8% increase. The highest-priced ticket rises by $10, or roughly 5%, compared to the 2026 maximum.
EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios are also seeing higher starting prices.
Both parks started at $155 in 2026. In 2027, their least expensive tickets will start at $159. Hollywood Studios can reach $199, while EPCOT will top out at $189.
The highest Magic Kingdom price can add up quickly for larger groups. Four adults paying $209 each would spend $836 before tax. Once taxes are added, that total approaches $900 for one evening.
That’s a major expense, even for guests who value the lighter crowds and reduced wait times that come with After Hours.
Disney Trips Are Already Carrying Bigger Numbers
The After Hours increases coincide with regular Walt Disney World admission and also reach new price levels in 2027.
Based on ticket pricing released through October 2027, one-day adult admission can reach $219 at Magic Kingdom, $214 at EPCOT, $209 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and $189 at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
At the lower end, tickets remain available for $139 at Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios, $129 at EPCOT, and $119 at Animal Kingdom during the currently available period.
Prices vary by date, so some guests will pay significantly more depending on when they visit.
Other vacation costs also remain part of the equation. Resort rooms can add hundreds of dollars per night, while Lightning Lane purchases create another potential expense for guests looking to reduce their wait times.
For those still interested in After Hours, Disney has already released a large slate of dates.
Guests Have Plenty of Nights to Choose From
Magic Kingdom will host After Hours on January 11 and 18; February 1, 8, 15, and 22; March 4, 8, and 15; April 5, 12, and 26; May 17 and 24; June 14, 21, and 28; and July 15 and 19.
EPCOT dates include January 21; February 18; April 1, 15, and 22; May 6 and 13; June 3 and 12; July 8, 22, and 29; and August 7, 12, and 19.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios has the biggest schedule. Its dates include January 16 and 27; February 13 and 24; March 13, 17, and 24; April 7, 24, and 28; May 19 and 26; June 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30; July 5, 12, and 26; and August 4 and 25.
Each Park Offers a Different After Hours Experience
Magic Kingdom’s event runs from 10 p.m. until 1 a.m., while ticket holders can enter the park beginning at 7 p.m.
Attractions expected to operate include Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Haunted Mansion, Peter Pan’s Flight, TRON Lightcycle / Run, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, most events run from 9:30 p.m. until 12:30 a.m. The April 24 event instead runs from 10:30 p.m. until 1:30 a.m. Entry begins at 7 p.m.
Expected attractions include Slinky Dog Dash, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, Alien Swirling Saucers, Toy Story Mania!, Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets, and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.
EPCOT also runs from 9:30 p.m. until 12:30 a.m., with entry beginning at 7 p.m.
Its expected lineup includes Frozen Ever After, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Living with the Land, Test Track presented by General Motors, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, Mission: SPACE, Spaceship Earth, Soarin’ Across America, Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros, and The Seas with Nemo & Friends.

After Hours Is Becoming a Bigger Splurge
Disney After Hours still offers a clear benefit for guests who want to experience popular rides with shorter waits late at night.
But the 2027 prices make the decision more expensive than before.
With Magic Kingdom reaching $209 per ticket and a four-person group nearing $900 after tax, this is no longer a small vacation add-on for many families. It’s becoming a major purchase that guests will have to weigh carefully against everything else already competing for their Disney vacation budget.
