Walt Disney World, located in Orlando, Florida, is an exciting and enchanting destination that has captivated guests from around the world since it opened its doors in 1971. At the heart of Disney is the iconic Magic Kingdom, a theme park that offers a timeless escape into the world of imagination.

Magic Kingdom is the most well-known Disney park due to the iconic Cinderella Castle, as well as its classic attractions like Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain, “it’s a small world”, Jungle Cruise, and Pirates of the Caribbean.

Rumors are circulating that Disney World might significantly change Frontierland at Magic Kingdom. It’s speculated that they might replace a majority of Frontierland with New Orleans Square to accommodate Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, which will open in 2024.
Brayden on X (formerly known as Twitter) posted about the part on Disney’s website that talks about more announcements and shared that this is a tease for Disney to remove Frontierland to add a new land to match Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.

It’s important to note that this is not confirmed by Disney it’s unclear if the company will secure the necessary resources and approvals for these changes. It’s possible that Frontierland could be sliced up, with part becoming New Orleans Square and the rest remaining as-is, with the potential for expansion in the future.

Another Frontierland attraction that is seeing changes is the Country Bear Jamboree. Country Bear Jamboree is changing and this beloved attraction is set to close later this month on January 27 to teach the group a new set of songs. This attraction is set to reopen in the summer of 2024 with the all-new show.
