Anyone thinking about buying Walt Disney World tickets may want to make that decision sooner rather than later.
Disney hasn’t announced another price increase. However, the calendar has reached a point that should look very familiar to longtime Disney World guests.
For three consecutive years, October has brought major pricing changes to the resort.
If that trend continues in 2026, guests could find themselves paying more within days.
Last Year’s Increase Arrived October 8
The strongest reason to watch Disney’s prices right now is what happened exactly one year ago.
On October 8, 2025, Walt Disney World rolled out another round of price increases.
Annual Passholders were among those affected.
Disney raised its top-tier Incredi-Pass from $1,549 to $1,629. The Sorcerer Pass increased to $1,099, the Pirate Pass reached $869, and the Pixie Dust Pass climbed to $489.

Parking also became more expensive, with standard theme park parking increasing from $30 to $35.
Those changes followed previous October increases in 2023 and 2024, creating a pattern that is becoming difficult to ignore.
Disney Tickets Are More Expensive Than Ever
Regular theme park tickets have also continued climbing.
Disney uses date-based pricing, so ticket prices vary depending on the park and day guests choose.
For select peak dates in 2026, Magic Kingdom admission reached $209. Disney’s Hollywood Studios climbed as high as $204, EPCOT reached $199, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom topped out at $184.
The Magic Kingdom increase represented an important milestone because standard one-day admission crossed $200.
Another pricing adjustment could potentially raise that ceiling again.
Disney has not announced what future maximum prices might look like, meaning any specific dollar amount would be speculation.
Guests May Want to Watch This Week
There’s no guarantee Disney will repeat last year’s October 8 timing.
In 2023, increases arrived October 11. Annual Pass prices changed on October 23 in 2024 before Disney moved its major 2025 adjustment back to October 8.
That gives Disney a fairly wide October window.
Still, guests who already know they’re visiting may want to consider that recent history before waiting too long to purchase tickets.
As of October 4, 2026, Disney has not announced another increase.
That could remain true throughout the month.
But after three consecutive years of October pricing changes, the possibility of another increase isn’t coming out of nowhere. If Disney follows its recent pattern, guests could discover within days that their next trip just became a little more expensive.
