Disney Springs is the premiere shopping, dining, and entertainment district at the Walt Disney World Resort in Central Florida. It’s easy to do since there’s something for everyone in the traveling party–adults, little ones, and everyone in between.

In addition to Disney Springs having something everyone can enjoy–from numerous choices in dining venues and menus to shopping to entertainment–the area makes for a nice walk, especially when the weather is cooler. The district is a pretty area with lots of sunshine in the daytime, and the lure of lights at night, and the aesthetics throughout Disney Springs’ many areas, trees, shrubs, plants, and flowers adorn the walkways, and there are even spots where Guests can walk near the water.

One of the more aesthetic areas at Disney Springs, however, turned ugly on Thursday, and plenty of Guests were only too happy to share photos of the disgraceful sight online.

Guests noticed something wrong at the fountain located near the bottom of the elevator at the Lime Garage at Disney Springs, across from the Under Armour store.

The fountain is broken–not cracked–broken. In the photo above found on Reddit, it’s easy to see a huge chunk of the fountain bowl has broken off and fallen into the water. But at this time, no one is sure what happened, as photos of the piece falling into the water or of someone vandalizing the fountain have not surfaced.

The photo below shows how the fountain originally looked.

It’s an eyesore for sure, but we’ll admit crazier things have happened at the very same fountain. A few months ago, a man brought his surfboard to Disney Springs and attempted to “surf” in the same fountain.
