There is a lot happening at The Walt Disney Company as it prepares to celebrate its 100th anniversary. The company will be celebrating Walt and everything magical that he brought to people around the world with his genius and his creativity. The celebration will mainly be happening at Disneyland Resort, and boy will there be a lot.
Disney’s 100th anniversary will kick off at The Happiest Place on Earth on January 27, but before you head to the Disneyland Resort website to buy your Park tickets and make your theme park reservations, we have some incredibly important — and somewhat disappointing news to share.

Disney Parks Blog shared that, as of right now, Disneyland theme park reservations — to both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park — have been put on pause for dates past January 8, 2023. According to Disney Parks Blog:
As you begin to plan your trip to visit Disneyland Resort for the Disney100 anniversary, please know that theme park reservation availability for Disneyland park and Disney California Adventure park is currently paused for dates beyond Jan. 8, 2023, and will resume for guests in the coming weeks.

Since reopening after the pandemic, Guests have been required to make reservations for which theme park they would like to visit each day they are at Disneyland — the same thing also happens at Walt Disney World Resort. Reservations can typically be made up to 120 days in advance, which would mean that Guests who want to visit Disneyland should be able to book into February.
Disney has not said when the reservations will open up, just that it will happen soon.

As part of its 100th-anniversary celebration, Disneyland Resort will see Sleeping Beauty Castle covered in gorgeous decorations. Classic characters like Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse will also be wearing special platinum-colored costumes. There will also be two new nighttime spectaculars — one at Disneyland Park and one at Disney California Adventure — Wondrous Journey and World of Color – One.

In addition to the decorations and shows, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway will also be opening on January 27, 2023, to kick off the celebration.
