Are you sad that you couldn’t make it to Anaheim, CA to experience the D23 Expo? We were thrilled to learn that The Exhibition which celebrates Disney 100 Years of Wonder will hit the road. More Disney fans can enjoy the magic that Disney has brought over the last 100 years as well.
Disney100: The Exhibition will immerse Guests in the Disney magic by bringing what they are calling Disney’s “Crown Jewels” to four places around the world. This 15,000-square-foot exhibit is the largest we have seen. It will include original artwork, artifacts, costumes, props, and other memorabilia from some of our beloved Disney stories.
“As we prepare to kick off Disney 100 Years of Wonder, we are incredibly excited to bring this fantastic exhibition to life,” said Becky Cline, director, of Walt Disney Archives. “We can’t wait for guests to experience their favorite Disney stories, characters, and attractions in new and immersive ways as we celebrate all the wonderful worlds of Disney.”
There will be ten themed galleries that will have moving stories, unique interactive installations, and exciting background information all of which will take visitors through 100 years of The Walt Disney Company.
We can look forward to celebrating new members of the Disney family such as Star Wars, Marvel, and National Geographic as well as classics such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
The Exhibition will begin the world tour by launching at Philadelphia’s Franklin Institue on February 18th, 2023. The other planned stops include Chicago, IL, Kansas City, MO, as well as Munich, Germany opening on April 18th, 2023.
