Why Are Crows Called A “Murder?”

While some found the mass gathering of crows to be an eerie sight, it’s important to recognize that these birds have long been associated with mysticism and symbolism. The presence of crows can be seen as a sign of darkness.

The reason a crowd in a group is called a murder can be attributed to the fact that they are perceived as an omen of death. These animals have also been known to harm one of their own, adding another layer to the name.

This “mass murder” is not the only unique encounter that guests can have with wildlife at Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. Guests can find squirrels, ducks, and even feral cats while exploring the magic of the parks.

While the photos of the murder might send a chill down the spine of every guest, it is important to know that no major threat is posed by these birds.
