Disney Officially Names New Partner for Parks and Disney Cruise Line

Disney and Shutterfly announced a new partnership on October 20, 2026. Shutterfly is now the Official Photo Gift Partner of Walt Disney World, Disneyland Resort, Disney Cruise Line, and Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa.

Here’s what’s changing and when.

What’s New

  • Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort guests can now send Disney PhotoPass photos straight to Shutterfly
  • Disney Cruise Line and Aulani guests get a similar option in early 2027
  • A new shopping hub on Shutterfly.com includes park-inspired collections sold only there

How the PhotoPass Sync Works

The feature is opt-in. Once you turn it on, your PhotoPass photos automatically appear in your Shutterfly account.

From there, you can:

  • Store your photos
  • Revisit them anytime
  • Turn them into photo books, cards, gifts, and other keepsakes

This eliminates the usual hassle of downloading photos from your phone and uploading them elsewhere after your trip.

If attraction photos are included in the sync, that could cover shots like the new Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin on-ride photo, which adds your score and rank to the image.

What Disney and Shutterfly Said

Gary Daniels, Senior Vice President of Disney Products & Experiences, said the focus is on memories after the trip. Working with Shutterfly, he said, “We’re making it easier for guests to bring those memories into their everyday lives.”

Shutterfly CEO Emily Whittaker described the partnership as a way to connect the moment a photo is taken with the keepsake that comes later.

Holiday Timing

The partnership arrives right as holiday card season begins, making it easier to use vacation photos on cards, ornaments, and gifts.

Disney Jollywood Nights also returns to Disney’s Hollywood Studios on November 7. PhotoPass downloads are included with every ticket, so those festive photos could end up on this year’s holiday cards.

New Disney Hub on Shutterfly.com

Shutterfly is expanding its relationship with Disney Consumer Products to add new photo gift categories. The new hub on Shutterfly.com includes:

  • Photo books
  • Cards
  • Home décor
  • Games
  • Ornaments
  • Other personalized gifts

Exclusive Disney Parks Collections

The biggest addition is a set of parks-inspired designs available only on Shutterfly.com.

Walt Disney World collections:

  • Magic Kingdom
  • EPCOT
  • Disney’s Hollywood Studios
  • Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Disneyland Resort collections:

  • Disneyland Park
  • Disney California Adventure

Disney and Shutterfly say more collections celebrating vacation experiences will be added over time.

New Character Designs

New character products feature:

  • Toy Story
  • Cars
  • Mickey & Friends
  • Winnie the Pooh

The Pooh designs are especially timely since Winnie the Pooh celebrates his 100th anniversary this year.

Why It Matters

Most families come home from their vacations with hundreds of PhotoPass photos that never leave their phones. This partnership makes it simple to turn those pictures into something you can hold, hang, or gift.

If you’re visiting any of the theme parks soon, consider turning on the Shutterfly sync before your trip. Your photos will be waiting for you when you get home.
