March is Women’s History Month and one Disney Park is celebrating some of its most beloved heroines with all-new delectable dining options, including three new churro flavors!

First introduced at Disneyland Park in the 1980s, the Disney Parks Churro has become an iconic symbol to Disney fans and foodies everywhere, potentially only second to DOLE Whip or the Mickey Premium Bar in terms of Disney snacks. While regular churros with their delightful cinnamon sugar flavor are available at most Disney Parks at Disneyland and the Walt Disney World Resort year-round, many will introduce specialty flavors for a limited time to celebrate holidays, milestones, or other occasions.

For example, the Disneyland Resort and Downtown Disney District introduced different churro flavors with unique sauces and toppings last Christmas, and the new Disney100 churro includes cherry sugar, white chocolate icing, and the signature purple and silver sprinkles for the 100 Years of Wonder platinum anniversary. Now, three new yummy takes on the classic original will debut this month at Disneyland Park for an extremely brief run, making them highly coveted by Disney foodies everywhere!

As part of its well-received Disneyland After Dark after-hours events series, Disneyland will host the first annual Princess Nite, a “celebration under the stars where adventurous heroines and aspirational hearts unite” just in time for Women’s History Month! Moreover, the Disneyland website includes more details on the exclusive event, which will empower Guests by commemorating “iconic characters who light the world with kindness, courage, and a touch of magic.”

Plus, Disney Parks promises attendees special character meet-and-greet and photo opportunities, including Princess Leia, Vanellope von Schweetz, Princess Atta, Merida, Sofia the First, Giselle, and more, along with a magical new menu with Cajun flair inspired by Princess Tiana! Part of this unique selection covered in the foodie guide includes the new churros, which can be found throughout the Park during its evening run.

For instance, the Berry Good Churro found at churro carts near Sleeping Beauty Castle in Fantasyland, Frontierland, and Tomorrowland includes raspberry sugar, sweet cream cheese drizzle, and garnishes of freeze-dried raspberry crumble and lovely edible micro flowers! In addition, New Orleans Square and Critter Country churro carts will offer the Friendship Churro, which includes raspberry-limeade and pink lemonade sugars, lime glaze, and candied pearls.

Lastly, Fantasyland’s Blueberry Cheesecake Churro, found near “it’s a small world,” comes with graham-cracker flavored sugar and blueberry cheesecake dipping sauce. But, if churros aren’t your thing, there are plenty of other beautiful and delectable desserts to try, like Tomorrowland’s Macadamia Nut Pretzel, the Cotton Candy-Cream Cheese Pretzel at Refreshment Corner, and the Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe’s Princess Trifle and Daydreamer Macaroon.

Will you and your royal entourage try any of these at Princess Nite on March 7 and 9, 2023?
