Mickey Mouse made a special visit to help spread some pixie dust and holiday cheer to the children in the hospital.

Seen wearing his Santa hat and adorable holiday sweater, Mickey is seen giving hugs as he brings joy to children who need extra magic this holiday season. From babies to teens, each kid is seen with a Scorcer Mickey plush as they enjoy their one-on-one time with Mickey Mouse.

These children facing health struggles could enjoy hugs, laughs, and even play with Mickey Mouse brightening their day.

Nemours Children’s Hospital

Nemours Children’s Hospital, located in Orlando, Florida, is known for its care for kids. When visiting their website, Nemours states that they are “acclaimed care for kids” and provide care for every step along the way: “Taking care of kids isn’t part of what we do. It’s all we do. We’re recognized as one of the nation’s safest pediatric hospitals — with teams including some of the best doctors, nurses, and support specialists.”

It is the mission of Nemours Children’s Hospital to help kids everywhere grow into healthy adults. They do this by not just focusing on the children being serviced within their buildings but heading out into the communities to reach kids where they live, learn, and play.

Part of community involvement is working with companies like Disney to bring extra magic to those receiving treatment. Having Mickey Mouse visit for a quick afternoon is the magic and holiday cheer, just one example of this community connection that Nemours seeks.
