While EPCOT continues to teach others about the future and the Earth, another major attraction is heading to the Disney park, this time themed with Moana.
Journey of Water Inspired by Moana is set to open on October 16. 2023. This attraction is a self-guided outdoor trail that invites guests to immerse themselves in the enchanting journey of water, from the heavens to the oceans and back. Guests will learn about the interconnectedness of water, linking us to one another and the planet. Traverse this trail to forge new connections with water and gain insights into the global water cycle—a breathtaking journey that water undertakes around the world.
Many special guests have already gotten the opportunity to experience the attraction. Scott Gustin tweeted that Disney Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members are now allowed to join a virtual queue to experience Journey of Water Inspired by Moana. Disney Dining reported when Annual Pass holders and Disney Vacation Club Members were first given the opportunity to enjoy the attraction that a virtual queue would be utilized only when needed.

Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana teaches guests about the vital importance of preserving this precious natural resource. Guests will be able to choose their path—whether to make a splash or stay dry—as you explore this whimsical aquatic world. Be mindful that some experiences may be affected by inclement weather conditions. For guests requiring wheelchair access, it’s available exclusively on the dry path.
