Walt Disney World is not just a theme park; it’s a place where guests can experience imagination, adventure, and nostalgia. Disney World is a dream destination for families, thrill-seekers, and Disney enthusiasts alike.

One of the four major theme parks within Disney World is EPCOT, which stands for Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow. Disney World is home to four theme parks, two water parks, countless resorts, and entertainment districts.

Each theme park offers a unique experience, but perhaps none is as intellectually stimulating as EPCOT. Upon entering EPCOT, guests are greeted by Spaceship Earth, the iconic sphere that serves as the park’s centerpiece or large ball, as some guests may see.

Guests head to EPCOT for many reasons. Adults tend to “drink around the world,” which is located at the World Showcase. EPCOT is divided into four neighborhoods that guests can experience: World Celebration, World Nature, World Showcase, and World Discovery with different attractions for guests to experience.

One of the most beloved attractions in EPCOT is Journey Into Imagination with Figment. This popular attraction takes guests on a colorful adventure alongside Figment, a mischievous purple dragon with a penchant for creativity. As riders journey through the Imagination Institute, Figment encourages them to embrace their imagination and explore the power of creativity.

With its catchy theme song and vibrant scenes, Journey Into Imagination with Figment is a must-visit for guests of all ages.

However, one Disney World guest would feel differently about Journey Into Imagination with Figment. After her TikTok video went viral about her saying, “I can’t hold my breath that long,” it sparked many responses from other fans.

Elana(@elanaexplores) recounted her experience of getting stuck at the “stinky skunk part,” which is located in the Smell Lab of Figment, expressing disbelief that such an occurrence could happen. Elana commented on feeling “traumatized” by the encounter.

Journey Into Imagination with Figment is normally a calm and relaxing ride that takes guests through different rooms and explores their 5 senses with Dr. Nigel Channing and Figment. Comments from fellow Disney World park enthusiasts empathized with Elana’s ordeal, with some admitting to holding their breath during that part of the ride every time.

On the right, Sebastian, the red crab, looks equally surprised as if they've just embarked on a journey into imagination.

EPCOT and Disney World Cast Members work hard to keep attractions up and running and short delays.

When a delay happens, remain in your seats, and the attractions hopefully will begin moving shortly. If an evacuation is needed, Disney Cast Members are expertly-trained to handle these situations.
