Congratulations are in order as The Walt Disney Company has earned 27 Golden Globe nominations for films including Wish, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 3, and Pixar’s Elemental.
Disney shared the news of the company’s impressive line-up of 27 Golden Globe nominations on the official Walt Disney Company website with the following announcement:
The Walt Disney Company today received 27 Golden Globe Award® nominations across its content brands and studios, including Disney Television Studios’ 20th Television, FX, FX Productions, Hulu Originals, Marvel Studios, Pixar Animation Studios, Searchlight Pictures, Walt Disney Animation Studios, and Walt Disney Studios.
Searchlight Pictures garnered eight nominations. “Poor Things” leads the studio with seven, including Best Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy, Best Director, Motion Picture (Yorgos Lanthimos), and Best Screenplay, Motion Picture (Tony McNamara), along with best performance nominations for Emma Stone, Willem Dafoe, and Mark Ruffalo, and a Best Original Score nod for Jerskin Fendrix. The studio also garnered a Best Performance by an Actor in a Drama nomination for Andrew Scott in “All of Us Strangers.”

The 81st Golden Globe Awards will air on January 7, 2024, beginning at 5:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time. Per an announcement from the Golden Globes:
Taking place Sunday, January 7, 2024, the Golden Globes will have the most powerful lead-in audience, airing directly following an NFL on CBS Sunday doubleheader.
CBS — the longstanding home of the Grammy Awards®, will expand its award show offering with the addition of the Golden Globes. In addition to the live broadcast on the network, The Golden Globes televised ceremony will be available both live and on-demand on Paramount’s flagship service, Paramount+.
The 3-hour show will be broadcast live from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. PT and on the CBS Television Network from 8:00 –11:00 PM ET. Stations in the Pacific time zone that air the event live will also rebroadcast the entire Golden Globe Awards telecast in prime time immediately following the live presentation.
