A reality television star sparked controversy after going shirtless at Disneyland Resort. Disney Parks fans slammed the guest for violating the theme park dress code “in front of thousands of children.”
The Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort dress code went viral in 2022 when a TikTok trend inspired guests to violate the rules intentionally. Guests wore tie-front shirts and other banned clothing, attempting to get free replacement clothing from Disney cast members. The phenomenon grew so popular that the Disney parks cracked down on Disney cast members giving away complimentary t-shirts to dress-coded guests.
A few years back, Brock Davies of the Bravo show Vanderpump Rules garnered backlash for violating the dress code while visiting Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park with his family. Redditor u/enonymous715 shared this screenshot of Davies walking around the Southern California Disney park shirtless:
What type of grown man can’t keep his shirt on at Disneyland in front of thousands of children?!

Fans were shocked by Davies’ attire or lack thereof.
“Ridiculous,” u/chub-rub-club wrote. “100 degrees or not, cotton breathes and put your damn shirt on.”
“This is so trashy and also not allowed,” said u/Shoe_Gal2. “Yuck.”
As many commenters pointed out, Disney cast members likely barred Davies from entry until he put on a shirt.
“Must’ve lasted for only a few minutes because cast members WILL kick them out for being shirtless,” u/StarDatAssinum commented.
“I will never forget years ago the time at WDW this guy…took his shirt off once we got moving on Splash Mountain,” u/eleanorshellstrop_ replied. “He must have been in my flume because I remember this.. a cast member literally made an announcement over the loudspeaker to put his shirt back on mid ride. He took it on / off a few more times because our ride picture ended up being censored / not shown.”
All Disneyland Resort guests must wear shirts at the theme parks. The Disney dress code bans “clothing which, by nature, exposes excessive portions of the skin that may be viewed as inappropriate for a family environment.”
