It is a great day to be a Disney Park Cast Member!
As Walt Disney once said, “You can design and create, and build the most wonderful place in the world. But it takes people to make the dream a reality.” Those people he was referring to are the Cast Members of the Disney Parks. Cast Members are the heart and soul of the Disney experience. To show appreciation for these dedicated employees, the Walt Disney Company has created various ways for Guests to give Cast Members compliments.

Showing Appreciation for Disney’s Cast Members
If there is one thing that drastically separated Disney from its theme Park competitors, it is the passion and dedication of its employees. Cast Members are the backbone of every Disney experience, and for so many Guests, the magical moments with Cast Members are what make Disney worth the time and money. They are the ones who bring the magic to life, from the friendly greetings at Park entrances to the immersive storytelling at attractions. Cast Members come from all backgrounds, all ages, and all parts of the world to work at the happiest place on earth.
To recognize their hard work, Walt Disney World Resort created the Cast Member Compliments program. This program allows Guests to acknowledge exceptional Guest service or commend a magical moment they experienced with a Cast Member they interacted with during their visit. The program has been in place for many years and has since expanded to include other ways for Guests to show their appreciation, including the Mobile Cast Compliment Feature.

One Million “Thank You’s”
On June 20, 2023, Disney announced that over one million Cast Compliments had been submitted through their Mobile Cast Compliments service. This service was launched in October of 2021, making this number even more incredible.

It is so impressive to see how many times Cast Members have made a Disney trip extra special. These employees do so much for the Disney community, and the fans will forever be grateful.
