Disney Parks & Resorts operates several theme parks all across the world. The biggest, of course, is Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. The Disney Park area includes Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, as well as more than 25 Resorts. Out west, the original Disneyland Resort is home to two theme parks, Disney California Adventure Park and Disneyland Park.

In California, there comes just a handful of times per year when Disney changes the iconic attraction Space Mountain– located in Tomorrowland at Disneyland Park— over to Hyperspace Mountain. The popular attraction is currently open and features the storyline that the New Republic needs help flying reconnaissance vessels to survey an Imperial Star Destroyer. After being escorted into hyperspace by an elite X-wing squadron, you arrive only to find the Star Destroyer waiting with a swarm of TIE fighters—it’s a trap!

But, there’s so much more Disney to experience than just in Florida and California.

Disney also operates Shanghai Disneyland, Tokyo Disneyland Resort, Hong Kong Disneyland, and Disneyland Paris.

In Disneyland Paris, Hyperspace Mountain– also known as Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain– is open to Disney Guests and we’ve got good news to share with you. Disney has canceled its refurbishment for the popular attraction, which was previously scheduled for May 22 through June 2, 2023.

The attraction suffered an unexpected closure back in the middle of April, and Disney was able to go ahead and fix what it needed to then. This means if you’re visiting Disneyland Paris any time soon, you’ll be able to enjoy the iconic attraction with no closures, which is fantastic news.

DLP Report shared the news on Twitter.

Note that Disney has canceled the Hyperspace Mountain refurbishment originally planned for May 22 to June 2, as the maintenance team was able to conduct the works needed when the Attraction unexpectedly broke down in mid-April.

With a frenzy of red and green blaster fire, the wicked whirr of TIE fighters, and a stunning Star Wars score, Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain is a jaw-dropping experience fit for the most fervent followers of the Force.

Disney Dining will keep you updated on the latest developments happening at all the Disney Parks around the world. If you’re staying in America, you can enjoy Hyperspace Mountain through Sunday, June 4. Then, it will close down and make way for Space Mountain’s return.
