Celebrate 25 Years of Disney’s Animal Kingdom With Delicious Treats

Spring is just around the corner, and that means one thing… delicious springtime treats! Springtime means the wildlife and nature will be at their most beautiful peaks. It also means that a special holiday is just around the corner. April 22 marks both Earth Day and the 25th Anniversary of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park! To honor the occasion, Walt Disney World Resort will be celebrating all of the magic that this planet has to offer all month long. 

25th Anniversary of DAK is Cause for Celebration

There are so many ways to celebrate the magic of Planet Earth. One way is by enjoying an adorable selection of delicious treats offered in the Park. This month, you won’t want to miss the delicious treats, drinks, and meals available in the Park.

The star of the show this month is Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and they are not lacking in the food department. If you are looking for some sweet treats, the Bee Hive Mousse Dome is an adorable Honey mousse creation that is on top of a delicious brownie base. This treat can be found March 28- April 30 at Creation Comforts. Another adorable animal treat can be found at Flame Tree Barbecue. There, you can find the Flamingo Cupcake, which is a gorgeous strawberry cake with strawberry comport filling, guava buttercream, and a sugar flamingo topping.

One of the most gorgeous treats can be found at Restaurantpusaurus. Their Elephant Cupcake is a graham cracker cake with pineapple filling, matcha buttercream, and a gorgeous white chocolate elephant. Outside of the Parks at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, you can enjoy the Cactus Cake, an adorable chocolate peanut butter cake with strawberry jam and a buttercream cactus.

Cool Off With Refreshing New Drinks

As the Spring temperatures begin to rise, you can cool off in the Parks with some new delicious drinks. At Dawa Bar in DAK, find the Rum and Pineapple Cocktail, which is delicious coconut and pineapple-flavored alcoholic drink. At Flaming Tree Barbecue, you can find the Bubbling Pink Lagoon, which is a strawberry lemonade, sprite, and kiwi drink. This drink can be made with vodka.
