Disney vacations are a popular idea for fans looking to experience magic, thrilling experiences, and lots of incredible entertainment. If you are looking for an unforgettable and immersive experience, there is no place that can accomplish that the way Disney does.

Unfortunately, there are many inhibitors that stop families from booking their dream Disney theme park vacation. While timing, location, and weather all play a part, the biggest inhibitor is cost. Disney does not come cheap, and many families cannot justify spending thousands on a theme park vacation.

Even more unfortunately, the price of your next Disney Park vacation may have just gotten even pricier.

Bait and Switch: Disney Prices Change in a Big Way

Just last week, Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, announced their new $50 children’s ticket deal that would be coming this winter. Fans commended the theme park for providing such affordable tickets. However, today, it was announced that Disneyland Resort ticket prices would actually be increasing overall.

At Disneyland Resort, ticket prices vary depending on several factors, such as the type of ticket, the number of days you plan to spend at the Park, and whether or not you want to add the Park Hopper option to your ticket. Disneyland Resort offers a range of ticket types to suit different preferences and budgets. The most common ticket types include 1-Day, Multi-Day, and, of course, the Park Hopper add-on.

For those looking to spend just one day at Disneyland Resort, the 1-Day ticket is a great option. Keep in mind that the 1-Day ticket allows you access to only one of the two Parks – Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park. If you wish to visit both Parks on the same day, you can opt for the Park Hopper ticket, which grants you the flexibility to hop between Parks.

If you plan to immerse yourself in the magic of Disneyland Resort for more than one day, the Multi-Day ticket is the way to go. With the Multi-Day ticket, you can explore both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park on different days. The number of days you choose to visit will determine the price of the ticket, and you also have the option to include Park Hopper access for added convenience.

Both Single, Multi, and Park Hopper Tickets Get Increased

Earlier today, it was announced by Disney that all of their tickets would be getting more expensive. The price increases range from 6-25%.

For one-day tickets, the most expensive Disney California Adventure Park and Disneyland ticket option jumped from $179 to $194 (8.38% increase). The multi-day tickets, as well as the Park Hopper add-on, saw a more significant increase. The most significant jumps were the 5-day ticket pack, which increased from $415 to $480 (15.66% increase), and the 5-day Park hopper add-on, which increased from $60- $75 (25% increase).

It is clear that fans will not be thrilled by these increases. However, this news is also not very surprising.
