Closures and refurbishments are what help keep Walt Disney World moving forward. When heading down for a magical vacation, checking Disney’s official site to see what experience might be closed during your vacation dates is essential. We discovered a significant closure in early 2024 when we recently checked ourselves. If you plan to visit Walt Disney World in early 2024, you will want to be well aware of this newest closure.
Frozen Ever After
On Walt Disney World’s site, we discovered that Frozen Ever After will go down in January. Luckily, this will be a short closure.
The site shows the ride closed to guests only on January 24, 2024. According to the official Disney site, the ride should only be down for one day, but if Frozen Ever After is essential to your trip, you will want to adjust your EPCOT plans.
This is a routine maintenance closure, so the ride will not be changed.
Other Closures
After the holiday rush, Walt Disney World often uses this time for general maintenance. Water rides like Kali River Rapids in Disney’s Animal Kingdom usually close in January and February.
