Take that, haters!
Of all the fan groups in the world, Disney Adults are certainly one of the most tormented. Despite existing for the past century, many people think that adults who long Disney are “cringy” and out of touch. Nevertheless, the negativity from the outside world has never stopped Disney fans from working hard to protect and support their community.
Recently, Disney fans accomplished a huge win when they managed to take down greedy ticket scalpers.
Ticket Scalpers Attempt to Buy Out Disney Event
Ticket scalpers have become a huge issue in the United States over the past couple of years. Greedy people use the eagerness of fans as a means to exploit them for their hard-earned money, and it’s about time they stop!
Earlier this month, tickets for Oogie Boogie Bash at Disneyland Resort went on sale to Disney fans, but unfortunately, ticket scalpers were able to buy up many of them before fans could. Oogie Boogie Bash is a highly anticipated event held at Disney California Adventure Park during the Halloween season. This exclusive after-hours party offers a unique and immersive experience for Guests of all ages, filled with thrills, chills, and unforgettable Halloween time memories.

One of the most exciting aspects of Oogie Boogie Bash is the chance to experience the Park in a whole new light. Due to its immense popularity, tickets for this event usually sell out in a couple of days.
Disney Adults: 1, Scalpers: 0
This year, many fans were heartbroken not to be able to purchase a ticket to one of the events. This sadness turned into anger when fans noticed that eBay was full of massively marked-up tickets.
Instead of succumbing to ticket scalpers, Disney fans banded together and refused to buy these tickets. They also communicated to eBay and Disney that they were sick and tired of ticket scalpers ruining Disney’s ticket-buying experience.
It seems that this mission was a success for Disney Adults! It is being reported that Disney is “investigating resold tickets” and is trying to stop these resellers in the future. Way to go, Disney Adults!
