Super Bowl Sunday is upon us, and for many of us, it’s more about the commercials than the offense or the defense. That’s especially true this year, as Disney is in on the advertising game like never before–with a beautiful commerical about Disney’s 100 years of wonder.
You’re gonna want to go get your box of Kleenex for this one.
Super Bowl LVII will see the Kansas City Chiefs face off against the Philadelphia Eagles at the Phoenix Convention Center in Arizona. It’s the first time in Super Bowl history that two brothers will compete against one another in the Super Bowl–Kansas City’s tight end Travis Kelce and center for the Philadelphia Eagles, Jason Kelce. One will walk away with his second Super Bowl win on Sunday night.
But the Kelce Brothers and their respective teams are the only ones competing during the NFL’s biggest show of the year. Dozens of companies and brands will also be competing–for the attention of viewers.

Advertising spots during the Super Bowl don’t come cheap, and this year, a 30-second spot during the big game reportedly sold for as much as $7 million. During the Super Bowl each year, advertisers showcase their best work of the year, leaving no stone unturned when it comes to finding just what it is that will wow consumers and hopefully drive business to them.
The Walt Disney Company is no stranger to the Super Bowl advertising arena, but Super Bowl LVII sets a new stage for the House of Mouse, as it’s the first big game during Disney’s “new era”–the beginning of Disney’s second 100 years. And to that end, Disney has created an ad that captures the magic and the memories of its first 100 years. But instead of waiting until the big game, you can see the commercial now.
But again, make sure you’ve got your tissues!
