Is Disney Demolishing Muppet Attraction?

Earlier today, one Disney guest made a shocking revelation that made many members of the Disney community feel shocked and confused. While exploring Disney’s Hollywood Studios Park at Walt Disney World Resort, this guest discovered some construction efforts that had materialized in the park.

From pictures shared on Reddit, we can see that construction barriers and scaffolding have been put up outside the apartment facade area of the Muppet show’s ride building. According to this source, Disney has begun demolishing the building. The post says:

“It appears the old apartments facade at the exit of MuppetVision 3D has been demolished. Sad to see another piece of MGM go!”

The source also mentions, “I overheard a CM tell another guest that it wasn’t structurally up to code.”
