Disney Dining Serving up the latest Disney Eats, Treats, News, and More!
Disney has just announced some incredible new information that has fans more excited than ever!
Fans of the movie Big Hero 6 were overjoyed to learn that Disney was introducing San Fransokyo Square to Disneyland Resort. Inspired by the fictional city of San Fransokyo from Big Hero 6, San Fransokyo Square will be the epitome of cultural diversity. The area will have a tri-cultural influence embodied with a Japanese, American, and Mexican touch.
This new area will be located at Disney California Adventure Park between Cars Land and Pixar Pier.

Transformation to Continue Through the Summer
San Fransokyo Square is a massive project for Disney, and construction on the area will continue until mid-August. However, Guests will be able to experience some of the square’s most extraordinary aspects earlier than anticipated.
Beginning in mid-July, Guests of the Park will be able to experience San Fransokyo eateries, including Lucky Fortune Cookery and the Port of San Fransokyo Cervaceria. As the summer continues, Disney will be slowly opening more dining and shopping options.

With this announcement, Disney also revealed some incredible new artistic renderings of what the new stores and restaurants will look like.
What to Expect at San Fransokyo Square

Guests can look forward to shopping at San Fransokyo Maker’s Market, an eclectic shop that will sell tons of Big Hero 6 merchandise.

One of the other main selling points of the new land is all of the incredible food that will be offered. Aunt Cass Cafe will be serving up delicious baked goods, including sourdough bread bowls.

For adults entering the area, Rita’s Turbine Blenders will be showcasing a giant margarita dispenser. According to Disney, more details about the menu should be announced soon.
So far, this area seems absolutely fantastic. While some Guests were not feeling super confident at first, this new information will likely win over the hearts of many fans.
