Check Out these Mouth Watering New Menu Items Found at Disney Resort Hotels

Walt Disney World Hotels are famous for their amazing food. Seriously, some of our favorite restaurants in the world are at Disney Hotels. That’s why we are thrilled that Disney has announced several upgraded menu items at some of our favorite restaurants! Let’s take a look location by location at some of the yummy new items being served up at Grand Floridian, Port Orleans Riverside, Port Orleans French Quarter, Riviera and Boardwalk Inn!

Grand Floridian

At the Enchanted Rose the Beauty and the Beast themed lounge has some exciting new things in store! The expanded menu includes a charcuterie board, artisanal cheese selection, and hummus with tapenade, smoked paprika, and grilled pita bread. The Smoked Trout and Crab Dip features salmon roe, chive oil, and sesame seed lavosh combined into a beautiful and tasty dish. For Caviar lovers (or those who have always wanted to try it), Enchanted Rose is serving up a Siberian caviar, served alongside an egg yolk spread, crème fraiche, caper berries and brioche. Lastly, the Seasonal Flatbread is deliciously topped with artichoke, fig, ricotta, roasted garlic, and watercress. Yes please! Just look at how amazing it all looks:

Port Orleans Riverside

Down on the bayou, Boatwright’s Dining Hall has some delightfully new Cajun inspired dishes on the menu! The Lowcountry Seafood Boil is a classic dish filled with shrimp, mussels, and Andouille sausage with corn on the cob and potatoes simmered all together in a spicy Cajun broth. It’s served with a toasted baguette to finish it off. The slow-roasted Blackened Prime Rib is perfectly topped with Cajun butter and served with classic mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables.

For those who just can’t decide, check out Taste of the Bayou! This all-you-care-to-enjoy platter full of the Chef’s specialties: hickory-smoked pork ribs, crispy Cajun chicken, smoked sausage, barbecued beef brisket, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, roasted corn with Cajun butter, and seasonal vegetables!

They are also now offering Harvest Red Beans and Rice, a new plant-based dish consisting of red beans simmered with plant-based sausage, peppers, onions, and celery served over rice along with cornbread!

Dessert hasn’t been left out of the new menu options! Here you’ll find deliciously southern twists on dessert classics! The Southern Cheesecake is a classic vanilla cheesecake with a bourbon-caramel sauce twist and garnished with pecan-praline brittle! This one is absolutely not to be missed! The Plant-based Peach-Blackberry Cobbler is a classic peach and blackberry cobbler topped with blackberry sorbet. Last but not least is the Mississippi Mud Crème Brûlée which is a milk chocolate crème brûlée with a sablé breton cookie and fresh fruit.

Over at River Roost Lounge you’ll find a brand new plant-based dish and a brand new signiture cocktail! The Spinach and Artichoke Dip will be a new plant-based favorite with a creamy dip served with Cajun-dusted cornbread crostini. The French 75, for those over 21, is a fizzy delight made up of Argyle Sparkling Brut, Hendricks Gin, fresh lemon juice, and pure cane sugar.

Port Orleans French Quarter

Scat-Cat’s Lounge (home to the resort’s famous beignets) is now serving up a brand new Cajun inspired plant-based dish! Just look at how amazing it is:

The Sassy Sassagoula Sliders don’t just look delicious but taste delicious too. This trio features BBQ jackfruit with slaw and fried pickles, fried green tomatoes with giardiniera and pepper jelly, and lastly a “fish” cake with spicy rémoulade and arugula.

Riviera

Bar Riva, at Disney’s Riviera Resort, serves an amazing array of French and Italian inspired dishes has a new salad option! The Burrata Salad is perfect for those cheese lovers, with heirloom tomatoes, fresh pesto, and focaccia bread. You’ll also find a new fish entrée, theSalmon with Orzo! This plate serves up a perfectly seared salmon with Pomodroccio tapenade and lemon orzo. The Mushroom Arancini will leave you wanting more with risotto, mushroom, cheese, and truffle – yes, truffle – served with a house-made marinara!

Dessert hasn’t been forgotten here either! Give your meal the proper finish with a dessert that you won’t be able to get enough of. The Molten Chocolate Cake is a new edition that you’ll be thankful you tried. This warm chocolate cake with a molten center is topped with a raspberry sauce and fresh raspberries – um…yes please!

Over at Primo Piatto you’ll be able to sink your teeth into what is sure to become a classic treat with their new signature cookie! This new cookie combines chocolate chips, ground oats, California walnuts, toasted pistachios, dried cherries, and flake sea salt which sounds absolutely amazing!

Over at Belle Vue Lounge you’ll find new cocktails to delight every palate, from high octane libations to zero proof mocktails! The Orange Blossom Manhattan is a citrus take on a classic Manhattan that fits nicely within the year-round ambiance of Belle Vue Lounge. If light and refreshing is what you need, stop by to enjoy the Sparkling Hibiscus featuring Sorel Hibiscus Liqueur and sparkling grapefruit. Guests of all ages will be able to enjoy the Agave Garden, a zero-proof offering which features Lyre’s Agave Reserve and passionfruit green tea. Sign us up for all three, please and thank you!
