Over the years, Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort have become popular backdrops for television shows and movies. The Parks have also become prime destinations for celebrities to visit. For the regular, non-celebrity Guests, celebrities at Disney Parks can be a blessing and a curse. While it is fun to witness a star in real life, it can also be distracting and take away from a normal Disney vacation experience.
For Guests visiting the Parks yesterday, April 27, the presence of celebrities in the Parks was surely known. In fact, an entire ride was completely taken over by a TV show and a special celebrity Guest.
However, we don’t think Guests complained after they got to experience this once-in-a-lifetime celebrity encounter!
Guests Get Pranked by Marvel Star
When visiting the Parks, Guests can expect to see some Disney stars like Mickey and Minnie and the Disney Princesses. What is more unusual is getting to meet the actors who portray these characters in the film.
Yesterday, Guests lining up to ride Disneyland Rersort’s Guardians of the Galaxy- Mission: BREAKOUT! was met with a peculiar message as they went to get in line for the ride. A sign was put outside the ride queue saying that by passing the sign, they were consenting to be filmed. It turns out that a celebrity TV host and a Marvel Studios actor had teamed up to play a prank on fans riding the attraction.
They are filming at “Mission Breakout” today.

The celebrities in question were talk show host Jimmy Kimmel and Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt. The duo worked together to prank Guests entering the ride, which is located on Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure.
The video is absolutely hilarious and heartwarming. This prank was a unique way for Chris Pratt to promote his upcoming movie, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. The film is set to premiere in the United States on May 5, 2023.
