Sistahs! We are just about halfway to the spookiest day of the year, and the bats are flexing their wings. Disney is also celebrating with a number of fun things. Both Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort will offer some limited-time Halloween eats and treats, and limited-edition Halloween popcorn buckets will be available in both Disney Springs and the Magic Kingdom. Disney also shared that some big announcements were coming to celebrate the spooky season.
As if all of those things are not exciting enough, Disney has now revealed that they will be hosting a Hocus Pocus watch party on Disney+ on April 27. They shared the exciting news on the Disney Parks Twitter page.

In order to prep for a night of running amuck, Disney has also shared some recipes to get you in the Halloween spirit. Disney provided a link that teaches you how to make The Witches Flight — which originated at Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar. There is also a recipe for some delicious bread twists called Winifred’s Pumpkin Broomstick Twists.
Hocus Pocus is definitely one of those movies that we could watch over and over. However, if you need a refresher before settling in for a night of mischief-making, here is a summary of the film:
You’re in for a devil of a time when three outlandishly wild witches — Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy — return from 17th-century Salem after they’re accidentally conjured up by some unsuspecting pranksters. It’s a night full of zany fun and comic chaos once the trickey 300-year-old trio set out to cast a spell on the town and reclaim their youth…but first they must get their act together and outwit three kids and a talking cat.
The Hocus Pocus Watch Party will be on April 27, beginning at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. The watch party comes as Disney fans get more and more excited about the highly-anticipated sequel film to be released this coming fall. You can stream the iconic Halloween movie on Disney+ and following along on Twitter for a night of fun and mayhem!
