If there’s one thing Disney sells very very well, it’s nostalgia. My fellow 80’s babies who grew up in the 90’s are an extremely nostalgic bunch. Blame our magical childhoods coupled with the less than magical recession in which we became adults (or ya know, participation trophies, either way). Fact still stands, we love our nostalgia and Disney loves to sell it to us.

With nostalgia in mind and the thought that “what’s old is new again” we are so excited about Disney’s “newest” meet and greet coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Chip and Dale’s Rescue Rangers are back!!!! We can’t say it’s new because they’ve appeared at Disney World before. Back in 1990, Mickey’s Starland Show, was a stage show based on the Disney Afternoon at the Mickey’s Starland section Magic Kingdom park (you’ll know the area now as Storybook Circus). It featured characters from Adventures of the Gummi Bears, DuckTales, TaleSpin, Darkwing Duck, Goof Troop, and of course, Rescue Rangers.
According to Attractions Magazine, the Meet and Greet will begin on February 15, 2023s and currently has no end date meaning that this is not a temporary or limited time engagement. It seems that “these two gumshoes” are here to stay! We imagine that this means the regular Chip and Dale “sighting” (it isn’t a formal Meet and Greet) near Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway will probably end on February 15th as well
You’ll find this crime fighting duo at the Adventure Outpost next to the Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular theater. This is just one of the many exciting new Meet and Greets being offered at Hollywood Studios as entertainment begins to return post-COVID.

The other one that excited us was Powerline Max from A Goofy Movie! While he has appeared in various parades over the years, we aren’t sure there has ever been an official Meet and Greet! You can find Max near the entrance to Galaxy’s Edge.
