Walt Disney World is a holiday mecca, full of beautiful scenery and plenty to do to get visitors in the Christmas spirit. One particular event, held at EPCOT each year during the International Festival of the Holidays, is the Candlelight Processional.

This beautifully popular offerings consists of a live choir made up of Cast Members, as well as celebrity narrators who read aloud the Christian story of the first Christmas.

Notable names such as Neil Patrick Harris and Brie Larson have helped continue on the traditional of the American Pavilion event each holiday season, but Disney guests were delightfully excited this year when Brendan Fraser was announced as special guests narrator.

The Killers of the Flower Moon (2023) star made the trip from his home in Bedford, New York to Central Florida this week to bring add a very special moment to EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays.

Although the Candlelight Processional runs through December 30, Fraser is slated to provide the celebrity narration from December 12-14, and as last night was his first go, fans were eager to celebrate one of the most humble guys in Hollywood.

As the sun set on Orlando and the chorus rang out, Fraser’s moment at the mic came, and guests at EPCOT immediately fell in love with the Furry Vengeance (2010) star.

As Fraser has spent his career working with notable names like Rachel Weisz, Alicia Silverstone, Harrison Ford, Matt Damon, Dwayne Johnson, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Robert De Niro, the moment was far from too big for the Passion of the Darkly Noon (1995) actor.

Social Media came out in full support of one of the most lovable celebs in Hollywood after his inagural narration of EPCOT’s Candlelight Processional. Brendan Fraser, who must be glowing at the outpour of love, certainly impressed those that were eager to see him at Walt Disney World.

Brendan Fraser’s Career

Of course for those of you unfamiliar, Brendan Fraser, although not one of the biggest star’s in Hollywood, has been around for a long, long time. The famed actor has contributed much to the enjoyment and lives of cinema fans with action-packed roles. However, most Orlando-based theme park guests will no him from the film-based ride at Universal Orland, The Mummy, in which Fraser can be seen screaming for a cup of coffee.

One of Fraser’s breakout roles came in the 1992 comedy film Encino Man, where he played a frozen caveman brought back to life in modern times. This lighthearted and entertaining film showcased Fraser’s comedic timing and charm, earning him a loyal following.
