Best Ice Cream Options at EPCOT

We love grabbing ice cream during a hot day at the Walt Disney World Resort! There are so many great options, but today we’re talking about the best ice cream options in Disney’s EPCOT!

L’Artisan des Glaces is serving up indulgent ice cream and sorbet in EPCOT’s France Pavilion within World Showcase. This Quick Service location offers delicious frozen dessert in cones or cups, but also as the star of signature desserts. They’re known for their Croque Glace, as well as their Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich, and Ice Cream Martinis.

Crêpes À Emporter by La Crêperie de Paris

For a unique ice cream dessert, try the Ice Cream Crepe at Crepes A Emporter by La Creperie de Paris. This dessert is available with chocolate or vanilla ice cream. You can also find this treat on the menu at La Creperie de Paris; the restaurants are located side by side in the France Pavilion.

The American Adventure Pavilion is home to Funnel Cake, a Quick Service stand offering ice cream topped funnel cakes. Order a traditional funnel cake topped with ice cream, or try a unique menu option like the Cookies n’ Cream Funnel Cake or the Candied Bacon Funnel Cake, both topped with vanilla ice cream.

La Cantina de San Angel

Even though we love the delicious savory Mexican menu options at La Cantina de San Angel in EPCOT’s Mexico Pavilion, it can be easy to overlook this restaurant as a dessert location. For ice cream lovers this dining location offers the Churro Sundae, featuring vanilla ice cream topped with churros and chocolate sauce.

Refreshment Outpost

Refreshment Outpost may be a smaller dining location, but it’s a star when it comes to ice cream treats in EPCOT. Located between the China and Germany Pavilions, this restaurant offers Vanilla Soft-serve Ice Cream in a Waffle Cone, or in a delicious Cola Float.

Lotus Blossom Cafe

Lotus Blossom Cafe may not be the first EPCOT restaurant you think of when you think “ice cream,” but they have unique flavors you need to try! This dining location, along with it’s Table Service neighbor, Nine Dragons Restaurant, both offer delicious Caramel-Ginger and Lychee Ice Cream.

La Hacienda de San Angel

For one of EPCOT’s most unique ice cream treats, stop by La Hacienda de San Angel in the Mexico Pavilion. This restaurant offers Sweet Corn Ice Cream as a delightful dessert option. This sweet treat is also available at the neighboring Table Service location, San Angel Inn Restaurante.

Fife & Drum Tavern

In the American Adventure, you can find Fife & Drum Tavern, a Quick Service stand serving American classics. This stand offered Vanilla, Chocolate, and Twist Soft-serve Ice Cream in a Waffle Cone and Ice Cream Floats. For a signature Ice Cream Float option, try out The American Dream, the Half Note Float, or a Barq’s Root Beer Float.

Sunshine Seasons

For our last location, we have our favorite plant-based ice cream substitute found in EPCOT. Head to Sunshine Seasons in The Land Pavilion to try out the plant-based Cookies n’ “Cream” Mousse. This delicious dessert is sweet and light, the perfect option for any foodie in search of plant-based menu options.

Megan Losey

As a Disney foodie, I love writing about Disney food and snacks. Some of my favorites are the Carrot Cake Cookie from Trolley Car Cafe, the Mickey Beignets from Port Orleans French Quarter, and the Apple Blossom from Port Orleans Riverside. When I'm visiting the parks, you can find me on Main Street taking in the good vibe of Magic Kingdom or relaxing with a drink at the Polynesian watching the fireworks from the beach. As a previous Cast Member, I will always have a special place in my heart for the Magic Kingdom, especially Main Street U.S.A.
