Need a quick break as you’re traveling around World Showcase? Stop by the African Refreshment Outpost for a quick lunch.

Guests will find the Refreshment Outpost at the African Outpost between the China and Germany Pavilions of EPCOT’s World Showcase. The Outpost is also home to a face-painting kiosk.

Quick Service or Table Service?

Refreshment Outpost is a Quick Service dining location. This means that Guests can stop by to grab a snack or refreshment without needing a dining reservation. This kiosk is open from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. serving delicious menu items.

Atmosphere

Even though this restaurant is small, the African Outpost has a lively atmosphere for Guests to enjoy. The decor of the Refreshment Outpost is filled with vintage Coca-Cola products and accessories.

Menu Options

Enjoy an All-Beef Hot Dog served with Chips, or choose from assorted Coca-Cola fountain beverages, water, or specialty drinks. The menu includes Frozen Coca-Cola or Minute Maid Lemonade Slushies, as well as delicious snacks like Soft-serve Waffle Cones. For Guests over 21, alcoholic offerings include the Outpost Lemonade, the Mango Starr, Bud Light Lager Draft, and Seasonal Draft Beer. Guests can find the complete menu on the My Disney Experience app.

Dining Tips

Beginning January 9, 2024, the Refreshment Outpost will accept both the Quick Service Dining Plan and the Disney Dining Plan. This means that Guests using either Dining Plan will be able to redeem a Quick Service meal or snack credit at this dining location.

This Quick Service restaurant often offers additional menu items during EPCOT’s seasonal festivals. During the 2023 EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival, the kiosk will serve Spicy Githeri with White Beans, Pigeon Peas, Curried BEN’S ORIGINAL Long Grain & Wild Rice, and Kachumbari Slaw.
