After Years of Struggles, Disney Springs Finally Has a Hit Inside the Former NBA Experience
It usually takes months to find out whether a new attraction has become a hit with guests. At Disney Springs, that process has happened much faster. Just days after opening its doors, Level99 is already making changes to accommodate the number of visitors walking through its entrance.

The interactive entertainment venue officially debuted on June 29, but its popularity has grown so quickly that longer operating hours are already on the way. It’s an early sign that Disney Springs may have found its newest must-visit destination.
Guests Have More Time To Visit
Starting July 13, Level99 will stay open later throughout the week, giving guests additional opportunities to experience the attraction.
The updated schedule includes weekday hours from 11:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m., while Friday and Saturday nights will now run until 11:30 p.m. Sundays will also see an extra hour of operation, closing at 11:00 p.m. instead of 10:00 p.m.
Expanding hours so soon after opening isn’t something businesses typically do unless demand consistently exceeds expectations. The move allows Disney Springs to welcome more guests without dramatically increasing wait times during the busiest parts of the day.
It’s also a sign that the excitement surrounding Level99 wasn’t limited to opening weekend.
A Fresh Entertainment Option
Disney Springs has become known for offering much more than shopping. Restaurants, live entertainment, and unique experiences have transformed it into a destination where many guests spend an entire evening.
Level99 adds another layer to that experience.

Instead of simply walking through stores or sitting down for dinner, visitors actively participate in dozens of physical and mental challenges designed for groups. Whether guests are visiting with family members, friends, or coworkers, the experience encourages teamwork while creating a little friendly competition.
That formula appears to be connecting with visitors looking for something different from a traditional theme park attraction.
Because guests can choose different challenges during every visit, there’s also plenty of incentive to come back. Repeat visits become part of the experience rather than simply replaying the same activity over and over again.
Giving New Life to a Familiar Building
For longtime Disney fans, the building itself carries plenty of history.
Before Level99 arrived, it housed the NBA Experience. Prior to that, it was home to DisneyQuest, which many longtime Walt Disney World fans still remember fondly.

Any business opening in that location faces high expectations because so many guests have memories tied to what came before. Fortunately for Disney Springs, Level99 isn’t trying to recreate those previous concepts. Instead, it brings something completely new to the district.
The quick decision to extend operating hours suggests guests have embraced that new direction.
Disney Springs Keeps Growing
One of the biggest reasons Disney Springs continues attracting large crowds is its ability to evolve.
New restaurants arrive regularly. Stores refresh their offerings. Entertainment options continue expanding. Every addition gives guests another reason to return, even if they aren’t planning to visit one of Disney’s four theme parks.

Level99 appears to fit perfectly into that strategy.
The venue gives locals another place to spend an evening while offering vacationers an activity that’s completely different from a day filled with rides and attractions.
If crowds continue at their current pace, this probably won’t be the last operational adjustment guests see. For now, though, the extended hours show that Disney Springs has another early success on its hands—and visitors now have even more time to experience it.
