For some, Spooky Season is a time of year. For others, it’s a frame of mind. Take 3-year-old Briar Rose. Her mother shared a story on social media that has now gone viral, and it just proves that if Halloween lives in your heart, then it’s always Spooky Season.

The toddler and her mom, Brittany Beard, went to Spirit Halloween, where Briar Rose fell in love with a doll. A creepy horror prop doll. When she asked for it, her mother initially said no, to which Briar said, “but I’m its mommy, and it needs me!” How can you say no to that? You can’t. It’s just too cute. The girl named the doll Chloe. Known as “Creepy Chloe” to her mother, we can’t say that is an inaccurate assessment. Just look at it:

But I digress. Briar Rose has developed quite an attachment to the doll and even insisted on dressing it in a princess dress and bringing it along to the Magic Kingdom recently. Beard said she decided to just completely lean into it and dressed Briar Rose in her Haunted Mansion Cast Member Costume. That’s when things got really fun.

They stopped for breakfast at Grand Floridian Cafe, and their server brought out the pastry chef to meet Briar and Chloe. She explained that she was a fan of all things creepy and just fell in love with Creepy Chloe and her Haunted Mansion mama! She even surprised Briar with a special spooky cupcake and white chocolate Haunted Mansion candy!

Then it was on to Magic Kingdom, where they had a photoshoot with the doll for posterity (or evidence on whether Beard is right that Creepy Chloe is sucking her soul at night).

Of course, they visited the Haunted Mansion. When they arrived, the Cast Members just loved their mini twin. Beard says, “There was a 50 minute wait to get on the ride but when they saw Briar, they immediately whisked her away into the secret “Servants Quarters” where we got to see the keys to all rooms and the bells that ring to call the servants up. Then they popped us right out into the stretching room. The cast members were waiting for us when the doors opened to present us with official Haunted Mansion Caretaker certificates and to walk us right on to the ride. It was so magical!”

She ended her viral post by saying “guess the moral of the story is when your 3 year old throws a fit over absolutely needing a super creepy Halloween doll… buy the doll. Creepy Chloe might be stealing my soul while I sleep, but we are making the best of our time left over here!”

What do you think of Briar Rose and Chloe? Despite the dolls creepy factor, we have to say this story warms our cold pumpkin spice-filled hearts! If you can’t get enough of Briar Rose and Creepy Chloe, you can follow their adventures on Instagram!
